Hotel pickup and drop-off is available in areas in Bali: Ubud, Denpasar, Canggu, Seminyak, Legian, Kuta, Tuban, Jimbaran, Sanur, Tanjung Benoa or Nusa Dua area. Please let us know your hotel and we will arrange it accordingly. pickup time 01.00 - 02.00 AM depend the area
Meet at our basecamp at 03:00 AM. A shuttle service will take guests to the starting point, and the top of Mount Batur will be reached around 06:00 AM.
What to expect
The trek starts in darkness, lit only by stars and headlamps, creating a peaceful and surreal atmosphere. Over the course of 1.5 to 2 hours, you’ll hike steadily uphill through volcanic terrain. No prior hiking experience is required, but basic fitness is recommended.
Once you reach the summit (1,717 meters above sea level), you’ll witness a breathtaking sunrise, with views stretching across Lake Batur, Mount Agung, and even Lombok island on a clear day. While enjoying the view, your guide will prepare a simple breakfast, often featuring eggs cooked using volcanic steam!
