This half day activity includes both local wet market walking tour and a cooking class. During the class, you will learn to cook 3 Chinese dishes, (2 persons per team, all hands on), to be followed by a demonstration dish towards the end. The customers will get to relax and enjoy all the different dishes cooked afterward. This is a great introduction to Chinese culinary culture!
This is a highly customize course! Unless the customers do not specify what they want to learn, we make recommendations to our customers what dishes to cook to fit their taste preference and also to make sure they can get all the key ingredients for the dishes we teach them when they are back home.
We are located in a commercial building with around 4000 sq ft area. Our facility has all the equipment that one sees in any upscale commercial kitchen. That said, we will teach you how to adopt your cooking process for the average domestic kitchen. Come sign up if you like to explore Chinese cooking!
Pan fried and steamed dumplings
The filling is usually minced pork, but upon request can also be ground beef or vegetables
Gong Po Chicken
A very popular Sichuan stir fry dish. Most of the ingredients used are easy to source in most countries.
Hot and sour dish
Normally it is made with sliced pork, but a vegan version can also be arranged. Spicy and sour but not too overwhelming.
Fried rice
Fried rice with preserved Chinese vegetables and pine nuts. Strictly vegan but amazingly delicious.
