In the series, it stands in as the Duke of Sandringham’s lavish residence, with its grand interiors offering a glimpse into 17th-century aristocratic life. The estate’s expansive grounds are featured in several scenes, including the iconic courtyard where Jamie’s ambush on Sandringham takes place. The deer park was transformed into the French countryside, and the house’s majestic staircases and red sandstone exterior helped bring 18th-century Scotland to life. With sweeping views of the River Forth and beautifully maintained gardens, Hopetoun House is a captivating fusion of history and cinematic allure.
