Neuschwanstein Castle, the most popular attraction in Germany. The 19th-century Romanesque revival palace nestled on top high above the village of Hohenschwangau. With prereserved tickets we skip the long lines for an indoor visit of this architectonical masterpiece (multilingual audio guides available). Marvel on this outstanding place, residence of King Ludwig II of Bavaria and explore rooms like Minstrel's hall, the Byzantine Throne Room and many more. Go for a private walk to enoy the terraces, grounds and gardens outside as well. After the tour, shop for souvenirs, grab lunch (own expense) and take photos against the stunning backdrop of the Bavarian moun-tains.

Then we drive north to the picturesque town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, on the Romantic Road. Join a walking tour and follow the guide through the town's winding, cobbled lanes. See the half timbered houses, the Renaissance Town Hall and the almost fairy- tale appearance of the majestic town gates that welcome Rothenburg's many visitors from near and far. The tour ends with a return trip to Frankfurt.
