In the morning departure to Heidelberg: First stop at the castle ruins high above the valley, the landmark of the city. This castle has been the residence of the mighty electors for fivehundred years and is considered as the epitome of German Romanticism. Your guide will show you the impressing courtyard, the large terrace and the biggest winebarrels worldwide. Afterwards we go on a walking tour through the medieval town center.
Later we continue to Schwetzingen to visit the former summer residence of the Elector Palatine. The tour takes you through the restored rooms and halls, which feature authentic furniture of the 18th century are equipped.
