After we will explore Tsinandali Palace - Aleksandre Chavchavadze’s Museum, where you can taste Tsinandali wine at Museum's cellar. Chavchavadze built a decorative garden in 1835. Chavchavadze built Georgia’s oldest and largest winery where he combined European and centuries-long Georgian winemaking traditions.
Visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century),where it is said, Christ’s shroud is buried. Svetitskhoveli is UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Visit complex Uflistsihe (1 – rd century BC).
Jvari monastery (6th century) is UNESCO World Heritage site.
The Joseph Stalin Museum is a museum in Gori, Georgia dedicated to the life of Joseph Stalin, the leader of the Soviet Union, who was born in Gori.
Visit Bagrat Cathedral - this majestic cathedral is towering over Kutaisi and visible from any point of the city.This greatest culture and architecture monument of Georgia, was constructed in the 10 th – 11 th centuries.
The Sataplia Nature Reserve is a place where you can see very interesting natural sights, walk in nature and enjoy with magnificent views. Also the guests can find footprints of ancient animals – Dinosaurs. This is the place where the footprints of Herbivorous and Raptor dinosaurs of different epochs are found. Sataplia dinosaurs are called “Satapliazaurus” and are different from European dinosaurs.
Gelati Monastery - is a masterpiece of the Golden Age of medieval Georgia, a period of political strength and economic growth between the 11th and 13th centuries.
Evening – arrival in Batumi.
Visit Gonio Fortress (3rd century BC) is the oldest fortress in Georgia. The name derives from one of the characters of the myth of the Argonauts (Apsaros = brother of Medea). The earliest archeological layers date back to the 8th and 7th century BC. A cemetery of the 5th century BC, south of the castle, was established by the Colchic kingdom (one of the Georgian kingdoms).
You will also visit Batumi Botanical Garden which is located 9 km north from the city of Batumi in Mtsvane Kontskhi (“Green Cape”) and occupies a 111 hectare area of land. Batumi Botanical Garden which is unique as it contains flora from nine phyto-geographic areas: East Asia, North America, New Zealand, South America, the Himalayas, Mexico, Australia, the Mediterranean, and the Caucasian humid subtropics. You can enjoy the magnificent views of the Botanical Garden which overlooks the Black Sea.
After breakfast at the hotel you move forward to Tbilisi, this beautiful tour will be finished at 14:00 Tbilisi time (UTC 04:00) in Tbilisi (International Airport for departure or Freedom Square).
