This incredible hike along the Pipeline Trail takes you deep into a remote, pristine cloud forest. The trail parallels a gorgeous creek that meanders through the valley in the highlands. The Pipeline Trail is the best maintained, and features old growth trees, butterflies, and rare species such as the Resplendent Quetzal, sloths, and monkeys. NOT 100% GUARANTEED. There are more than 220 bird species native to the area, including the elusive Resplendent Quetzal.

Following a 25-minute drive, you will arrive at the beginning of the Pipeline Trail, which spans approximately 2.8 miles (4.5 kilometers) roundtrip.
As you journey along the trail, explore the cloud forest encircling the park's perimeter. This path showcases ancient trees, bridges crossing a creek, and rare wildlife, including quetzals, sloths, and monkeys.
