Discover Jasper National Park’s wild side on this 3-hour guided wildlife tour. Travel by comfortable minibus as your knowledgeable local guide chooses the route based on seasonal wildlife movements, weather and recent activity, helping maximize your opportunities for sightings.

Keep watch for Jasper’s diverse wildlife, which may include elk, deer, bighorn sheep, bears, bald eagles, moose, mountain goats, coyotes and more. Along the way, take in spectacular mountain scenery and learn fascinating insights about Jasper’s animals, their habitats and life within the national park.

Every tour is different in this wild, natural environment. Sightings are frequent—we spot wildlife on 95% of our tours—but are never guaranteed.

• Hotel pickup is ONLY available to registered guests staying at one of the properties listed below. If your accommodation is not listed, you MUST select our Central Pickup Location at Two Brothers Totem Pole. We cannot pick you up from other hotels or accommodations.
• Pickup 30 min BEFORE: Alpine Village, Beckers Chalets, Jasper House Bungalows, Patricia Lake Bungalows, Pyramid Lake Lodge, Tekarra Lodge, Wapiti Campground & Whistlers Campground.
• Pickup 15 min BEFORE: Central Pickup Location – Two Brothers Totem Pole, across from Jasper Park Information Centre (500 Connaught Drive). All-day paid parking is available beside the Totem Pole near the washroom building.
• Pickup 15 min BEFORE: Astoria Hotel, Athabasca Hotel, Bear Hill Lodge, Chateau Jasper, Crimson Hotel, Downtown Hostel, Forest Park Hotel, HI Jasper, Jasper Inn & Suites, Lobstick Lodge, Maligne Lodge, Marmot Lodge, The Robson, Park Place Inn, Tonquin Inn & Whistlers Inn.
• Pickup 5–10 min AFTER: Pine Bungalows. Please wait near the main entry arch.
• Pickup 15 min AFTER: Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. Please wait outside the main hotel entrance.

    Maligne Adventures

    Travel through Jasper National Park on a guided evening wildlife search along scenic paved roads. Your guide selects the route based on seasonal wildlife movements, weather and recent activity to maximize opportunities for sightings. Keep watch for elk, deer, bighorn sheep, bears, moose and other native wildlife while enjoying spectacular mountain scenery. Wildlife viewing is primarily from the minibus, with possible stops at scenic viewpoints at your guide’s discretion. Along the way, learn about Jasper’s wildlife, habitats and the challenges of protecting animals within a national park.

  • Two Brothers Totem Pole is across from the Parks Canada Information Centre on Connaught Drive. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure. All-day paid parking is available nearby.
  • Wildlife viewing is primarily from inside the minibus. At your guide’s discretion, there may be opportunities to step outside at viewpoints.
  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Recommended for ages 5+: This 3-hour vehicle-based tour features educational commentary and intermittent wildlife sightings rather than continuous animal viewing. There are no scheduled stops, and young children may become restless. Children and infants under 5 are welcome, but all passengers, including infants, MUST be included in the booking at the applicable child rate and allocated a seat for vehicle capacity purposes. Infants not included in the reservation cannot be accommodated.
