When you arrive in port in Palma de Mallorca, discover the beauty of the island on a private shore excursion. Enjoy panoramic views of the Mediterranean coast on the drive to Valldemossa, a beautiful village with traditional stone houses. See the coastal village of Deia and the Soller Valley, full of orange and olive trees. Wander around Port Soller, a popular seaside town, and sample local food (own expense). We will pick you up and drop you off by your cruise ship or, if you are staying at a hotel, outside your hotel or at a pick up point nearby. Once you have made the booking, we will send you first an email with the booking details, and then a second email confirming the departure time and departure point.

1Valldemossa
This trip will take us first to Valldemossa, where you can stroll through the peaceful cobbled streets or relax and enjoy a coffee while you devour one of the local delicacies such as the 'coca de patatas' (small potato-based sponge cake) as at this time of the day we usually have the charming town to ourselves. You can join our guide for a relaxed walk around the streets or visit at your own pace the Carthusian Monastery and the famous composer Chopin's House (entrances are not included in the price).

Iglesia de la Cartuja (Pass by)
You will have the opportunitty to see the Royal Carthusian monastery, once a royal palace and the home of the Carthusian monk fraternity. (Entry excluded in the price) The Carthusian monastery of Valldemossa, in Mallorcan "la Cartoixa de Valldemossa", has been used for different purposes over time. Initially it was the residence of King Sancho I of Mallorca and later became the former royal residence and finally the Royal Charterhouse.

This is the birthplace of Catalina Thomàs, the most venerated saint on the island known as "La Beateta", who was born in Valldemossa in the 16th century. In her home, which has now been converted into a chapel, there is a tile at the entrance that represents a scene from the life of Mallorca's first saint.

You will pass by this famous viewpoint on your journey. The name "Sa Foradada" means "the hole" due to the hole on the montain which is visible from various parts of the Tramuntana Mountain Range. Legend has it that this hole is the result of a cannon shot during the war of 1582.

Deia (Pass by)
After Valldemossa, we board the coach for a delightful sightseeing ride through the Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range which has been named world heritage site and is protected by UNESCO. We will pass the picturesque towns of Llucalcari and Deia, famous faces are often spotted within the town of Deia. Have your camera ready, as our next stop is the pretty town of Soller.

This will take us to the Valley of Soller where we can take a walk around the town with our guide, who will show us the highlights of the eclectic architecture in the old town. Or you can have free time to visit Soller yourself, enjoying a stroll around the old streets or having a fresh orange juice (for which the town is famous) in the main square by the church.

3Port de Soller
In the Port of Soller you will have about one hour free time so that you can stroll around and explore this charming natural port and, after visiting this place, our coach will take us back to resorts.
