Visit the picturesque Lake Averno, an ancient volcanic crater surrounded by lush nature and millennial legends. Considered by the ancient Romans the entrance to the Underworld, this fascinating place is linked to the myths also told in the Aeneid. During the stop, you can walk along the lake and reach the remains of the so-called Temple of Apollo, immersed in a unique and silent atmosphere. Bay, Ancient Baths and Temple of Venus Discover Baia, one of the most fascinating places of the Phlegraean Fields, famous in ancient times as a spa resort and holiday resort of the Roman aristocracy. During the stop, you can admire from the outside the suggestive Temple of Venus and the remains of the ancient Romans Bath, testimony of a past rich in luxury and history. We will also walk in the small fishing village, where time seems to flow more slowly, between boats, sea and authentic atmospheres. A perfect mix of history, landscape and local life.

Capo Miseno, lunch and relaxation by the sea Reach Capo Miseno, one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the Phlegraean Fields, where the sea meets nature in a quiet and authentic setting. Here there is a lunch break by the sea: you can choose between gnocchi alla sorrentina or a cold salad, accompanied by a drink. After lunch, you will have time to relax and, for those who wish, take a bath in the clear waters of the area. A perfect time to experience the most relaxing and genuine side of the territory.

5Casina Vanvitelliana
Casina Vanvitelliana, jewel on the lake Admire from the outside the charming Casina Vanvitelliana, an elegant eighteenth-century building located on an islet of Lake Fusaro. Designed by Luigi Vanvitelli, this royal residence impresses with its unique position suspended over the water and the harmony of its forms. A short stop to take pictures and discover the history of one of the most fascinating places of the Phlegraean Fields.

Cuma and Arco Felice, between history and antiquity Stop near the ancient Cuma, the oldest Greek colony in the West, with views from outside the archaeological area and explanations on its extraordinary historical and mythological importance, also linked to the figure of the Cuman Sibyl. We will then continue towards the Arco Felice Vecchio, an imposing Roman passage carved into the rock, which testifies to the engineering and grandeur of the time. A moment dedicated to the discovery of the oldest roots of the territory.

View of Solfatara, between nature and volcanic phenomena Last panoramic stop before returning to Naples, with a view of Solfatara, one of the most active volcanoes of the Phlegraean Fields. From here you can observe the characteristic fumaroles and the unique landscape, where the earth “breathes” between vapors and sulfur smells, testimony of volcanic activity still present. A suggestive moment to conclude the experience between nature, science and the charm of the territory.
