Namba after dark has bars with no English menu and no room for a tour group, six seats at a counter, the owner two feet away. We get you in.
First stop's on us: two drinks, sake, a highball, or a Japanese sour, however the night calls it.
Your guide picks the route based on the night, some bars are better early, some peak later, and knows the owners well enough to seat you where a walk-in tourist wouldn't get past the door. From there expect local craft beer, more sake, and whatever the bar's actually known for.
What makes this different: we keep groups small on purpose. A 20-person crawl can't fit into a 6-seat izakaya. We can. That's the whole idea, and it's why the bars let us in at all.

Please note: While Google Maps shows our street address, our shop is actually underground. Look for the stairs/entrance near [BIC Camera, ROUND 1, AMZA]. Our store is close to Exits B21 and B23. We are next to the DOCOMO Shop and in front of Mother Garden (Pet Paradise).

Your first stop, a standing bar tucked into Namba's back alleys where regulars have been drinking for decades. Order what you like and chat with the Osakans through your guide. Get 2 welcome drinks here to start your night, everything after that is pay-as-you-go.

A counter bar everyone in Namba walks past without noticing. Locals know better. Order whatever the guy next to you is having, chat with the bartender, and get a feel for a place where nobody's performing for tourists.
