    13:30 – Fukuoka Prefecture ▼ Kokura Castle (Approx. 90 min, free time) Originally built in 1602 by Hosokawa Tadaoki, Kokura Castle was the seat of the Ogasawara clan for over 230 years. The castle was destroyed in 1866 but reconstructed in 1959. Its keep is notable for its distinctive Chinese-style gables. Nearby Highlights(optional activities,self-paid) Yasaka Shrine – Located within the castle grounds, dedicated to Susanoo-no-Mikoto. Popular for prayers of safety, prosperity, and matchmaking. Kokura Castle Garden – A restored Edo-period daimyo residence and strolling garden.     16:20 – Fukuoka Prefecture ▼ Miyajidake Shrine (Approx. 60 min, free time) Located in Fukutsu City, this is the head shrine of all Miyajidake Shrines in Japan, founded about 1,700 years ago and dedicated to Empress Jingū. Three Highlights: Path of Light (Hikari no Michi) – On the days around the spring and autumn equinoxes, the sunset aligns perfectly with the shrine’s approach, creating a breathtaking golden pathway. Japan’s Largest Shimenawa Rope – A massive sacred rope 13m long and weighing 3 tons, displayed at the worship hall.
