Experience the exhilirating joy of free flight with a qualified Tandem Flight Instructor in the foothills of the Southern Drakensberg. On clear days views of the Southern Drakensberg and the surrounding hills are spectacular. We often fly with raptors. The drive is a fun offroad experience.

From the R617 between Howick and Underberg, take the turnoff next to the Engen garage. It is sign posted Wild Sky Paragliding. Go over Stop. At T-junction turn left and follow the road to the log cabins.

What to expect
This is the perfect way to be introduced to the sport of paragliding. A stress free fun experience with a qualified Tandem Flight Instructor. This is also the perfect start to your paragliding course.
From Wild Sky Paragliding we travel to the launch site. Then we make sure wind conditions are good. A pre flight briefing is provided by the Tandem Flight Instructor. The passenger is clipped into their own harness, then connected to the pilot. The passenger and pilot needs to run to launch. Once flying the passenger is made comfortable and can just relax and enjoy! Flights are 10 to 15 minutes long.
