There are 2 ways to reach our Tea Estate. 1. If you are coming from Guwahati : consider taking the sath gaon route which goes through the army camp. 2. If you are coming from Nagoan - Guwahati : consider taking a right from Sonapur towards Sonapur Digaru route.

Introduction to the guide at the tea estate. We will take you on a guided walking tour in and around the plantations of Amchong Tea Estate and a brief overview of how tea is grown, manufactured, and tasted. Followed by a walk around the tea estate visiting plantations. Interact with the workers and participate in tea plucking (if plucking is in progress).

Visit to the tea factory to see different stages of tea processing such as Withering, Rolling, Fermenting, Drying and finally sorting.

End your day with a tea tasting session, where one can discover the differences in aroma, flavor and appearance of tea manufactured in different ways, and during different times of the year.
