Begin with pickup from your Dubai hotel and sit back in your shared 4-wheel drive vehicle as you travel to the Al Lahbab region of high red dunes. Go off-road for a high-speed drive up and down the slopes, feeling your 4WD slip and slide down the soft, shifting sands. Then, take photos of the sunset before your driver whisks you to a Bedouin-inspired campsite. Set off on a camel ride, try your skill at sandboarding, and take your pick from the cultural and sports activities on offer. Choose to puff a shisha (water pipe), get a henna tattoo, and dress in Arabian robes for souvenir photos. And, if you wish, let rip across the sands aboard a quad bike (additional cost). Afterward, watch belly dance and whirling dervish (tanoura) shows, and dig into a barbecue buffet dinner before your experience concludes with a Dubai hotel drop-off.
