Embark on an Unforgettable Adventure! Join us for an exhilarating guided tour to Long Bay Beach and the Giant Aldabra Tortoise Sanctuary, departing from St. John's. Discover the history of the island then get up close with some of the world's oldest living creatures. You’ll be picked up from selected hotels or at the cruise port at zone7. Whisked away to Long Bay Beach, where you'll spend your first hour soaking in the sun. Feel the silky, smooth sand beneath your toes and marvel at the stunning turquoise waters. Bring your own snorkeling gear or rent equipment on the beach for an unforgettable underwater adventure! After this unique experience, we’ll head to Laviscount Island, home to singing and dancing parrots and a variety of fascinating animals. At the Giant Aldabra Tortoise Sanctuary, you’ll have the chance to feed and interact with these remarkable creatures, which have changed little since the age of the dinosaurs. The sanctuary is home to over 50 Aldabra tortoises, native to the Indian Ocean & you can get up close to these friendly giants, some weighing over 600 pounds and living for up to 200 years. Don’t miss your chance to pet and feed these incredible animals!
