Tahi Tonga is renowned for their small group excursions, which take you to some stunning snorkelling spots and the most picture perfect little island (itinerary weather permitting).
Your Trip usually departs Faua Wharf at 10am in the morning. The departure point is just 5 minutes from the centre of Nuku’alofa or for cruise ship passengers we can arrange to pick you up.
Once at the wharf guests are supplied with snorkelling equipment and we hop on board one of our New Zealand built motor boats.
The trip includes a snorkel stop (or 2) where we will spend about 45 minutes -1hr exploring some stunning reef and tropical fish.
2-3 hours are spent on a picture perfect island where you can enjoy swimming, paddling, snorkelling and feel like you’re in your very own paradise.

Meeting and pickup
Transfers are available to Cruise Ship Passengers only. Pick up for cruise ship passengers will be at 9.15am unless specified otherwise. We pick you up at the gate to the Cruise Ship Wharf (Vuna Wharf).
All other guests are to meet us at our departure point (Faua Wharf) which can be found by searching Tahi Tonga on Google Maps. Meeting time is 9.45am (unless notified otherwise)
There is a shelter with benches at Faua Wharf behind Ngutulei restaurant. This is where we meet to get ready. Our mobile van and boat will meet you there to get you ready for your adventure.

1Tongatapu Island
Reef Snorkelling & Island Time Adventure. Our team will meet you at Faua Wharf (see Tahi Tonga on Google Maps) or pick you up from your cruise ship for a 5 minute transfer to one of our NZ built Power Boats. There you will get ready to head off for a stunning snorkel followed by a boat ride through the islands of Tongatapu to a picture perfect deserted island, where you can swim, snorkel, paddle board or just chill. Coconuts, local fruit and a light lunch are included.
