Discover one of Ireland’s most spectacular hidden gems on a private luxury tour of the Beara Peninsula. Stretching between Bantry Bay and Kenmare Bay, this rugged corner of southwest Ireland offers dramatic mountain scenery, ancient heritage, and breathtaking coastal landscapes that remain wonderfully unspoilt.
Our journey begins in the peaceful Glengarriff Nature Reserve before crossing the magnificent Healy Pass, one of Ireland’s most scenic mountain roads, with panoramic views of the Caha Mountains. We then visit the Uragh Stone Circle, a 4,000-year-old Bronze Age monument overlooking Lough Inchiquin beneath the dramatic backdrop of Gleninchaquin.
The day concludes in the heritage town of Kenmare, where colourful streets, artisan boutiques, and excellent dining create the perfect setting for a leisurely stroll and perhaps a late lunch/early dinner before your relaxing return to Cork.
