Meeting and pickup
Meet in front of Tree Coffee House, next to Tortuguero’s main dock. Please arrive a few minutes before 6:00 AM with your booking confirmation and National Park ticket ready. We’ll welcome you, provide your life jacket, introduce you to your local guide, and get you ready to board your canoe.

Enter the waterways of Tortuguero National Park and explore its rainforest canals by canoe with your certified local guide. As you move through the park, slow down at promising wildlife spots and scan the forest, treetops and water’s edge for monkeys, sloths, caimans, toucans and tropical birds. Use the provided binoculars for a closer look while your guide helps reveal wildlife and details that are easy to miss on your own. The route is shaped by the conditions and wildlife activity of the day, so every journey through the canals offers something different.
