You will be picked from a pre-communicated pickup point by a guide/driver with a name tag clearly labelled with the company name. The activities commence between 0530hrs and 0600 hrs unless clients request otherwise.

What to expect

This offers a full-on experience of the Okavango Delta through a traditional canoe (mokoro) made of fibreglass. The activity starts at 0600hrs as the guests are picked up and will be transferred to any of the Mokoro station in the Delta. Upon arrival at the Mokoro station guests are treated to breakfast before embarking onto the Mokoro to embark on their excursion. The guests will be assigned a poler from the community who will be taking them on the mokoro excursion and guiding them through the channels sharing all the indigenous knowledge of the wildlife and fauna they are surrounded by. From the poling station it will take the guests about an hour and a half to get to the island where they will either opt to have their lunch picnic before or after the bushwalk. After some relaxing time, the guests will continue on the adventure exploring more of these unlimited channels and choosing to stop at any other islands as they may please. When the night comes, guests will experience nightlife in the Okavango, filled with chatter around the campfire, sounds from the wild and a starry night sky.
