  Dien Bien Phu Military Cemetery

  The Dien Bien Phu Martyrs' Cemetery, located in the city center, is a solemn memorial honoring over 6,000 soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the resistance against French colonialism. Established in 1958, it represents the unity of heroes from across Vietnam and stands as a place of remembrance, gratitude, and national pride.

  A1 Hill (C1 Hill) is one of the most important battlefields of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, where decisive fighting led to a major victory for the Viet Minh in May 1954. Today, it stands as a memorial site, offering visitors insight into Vietnam’s wartime history in a solemn and scenic setting. Then continue to visit De Castries Bunker, the former command headquarters of French General Henri de Castries during the Indochina War, marking the final stronghold of the French forces in Dien Bien Phu.

  Khu Di Tich Lich Su Muong Phang

  12:00 – Travel into the mountains to the less-visited Muong Phang Village, home of the Black Thai ethnic minority and a historically important location during the Dien Bien Phu campaign. Enjoy a home-cooked traditional lunch prepared by a local Black Thai family at a homestay, followed by time to relax and experience the peaceful surroundings. 12:30 – Traditional Black Thai ethnic lunch.

  After lunch and rest, enjoy a short walk to Ban Kha Village, a historically significant site where the Viet Minh command center was located during the Dien Bien Phu Campaign. Set on a high hill, Ban Kha played a key strategic role in directing military operations that led to the historic victory in May 1954. Today, it offers visitors insight into the heroic resistance and achievements of the Vietnamese people

  Pha Khoang Lake, located about 15 km from Dien Bien Phu city, is a peaceful natural retreat surrounded by green hills and ethnic minority villages. Visitors can relax, enjoy the scenic views, take photos, and experience the tranquil atmosphere of this picturesque area. After the visit, our guide will transfer you back to Dien Bien Phu City, ending the tour at your hotel lobby
