Workshop held at a Atelier placed in 7min walk from Jiyugaoka or Kuhonbutsu Station which approximately 15min from Shibuya or Futakotamagawa by train.

Design and Create a pair of Shoes kilties for your sneakers and sandals that is completely unique to you!

Perfect workshop for handcraft lovers but for those who are not good at handicrafts or beginners in leather crafts as it does not use needle and thread.

Let's share the joy and excitement of creation.

If you would like to book the workshop more than 2 person I could arrange to rent a workshop cafe space which is 5min walk from my Atelier.

When reservation been confirmed, I would send you detailed address for the Atelier. Approximately 15 minutes by train from Shibuya or Futakotamagawa. Nearest train station is Jiyugaoka (Tokyu Toyoko Line) or Kuhonbutsu (Tokyu Ooimachi Line) and about 7 minute walk.

What to expect

Design and Create a Shoes kilties for your sneakers that is completely unique to you!

It would be great if you could give me message after booking to let you know my availability and to arrange the start time. The link and contacts will be provided on the ticket voucher.

1. Choose size
There are 2 sizes.

・Adult size(unisex)
Can be easily put on and taken off by threading them through the shoelaces to match your outfit.
If you want to put on to loafers or sandals, you can attach a shoe clip.

・Baby to kid size
When baby and toddler size, you can put them on and take them off with shoe clips. When they grow up to kid's size and become lace-up shoes, you can attach them by threading them through the shoe laces, so you can use them for a long time.

2. Choose materials (15-30min)
You can choose from Japanese-made leather, Italian leather, furs, PVC’s, tweed, ribbon lace, and antique kimono fabrics.

2. Cut and open holes ( 30-45min)
Cut out the kilties using a leather knife along the lines. Open holes for eyelets and decorations.

3. Assemble and finish (15 min)
Use a hammer for eyeleting.
Glue ribbon and shoe clips.
