We will meet you at the farm! When following the gps instructions and you take a left to a short dirt road, you will the sign at the farm gates, keep going and please make your way in through the gate.

What to expect

Established in the late 1970s, Quinta da Corrieira Grande has been dedicated to preserving and reviving the ancient traditions of Carcavelos winemaking.

During this experience, you will dive into the fascinating origins and production methods of Carcavelos wine, guided by our team. Learn about the meticulous processes that go into crafting this historic wine, from the selection of native grape varieties to the traditional aging techniques that give Carcavelos its distinctive character.

The experience includes a tasting of some of the region’s finest wines:

- Begin with a table wine made from the same grape varieties used in our fortified wines, offering a fresh perspective on these unique flavors.

- Then, savor a red fortified wine from our estate, a rich and bold expression of our winemaking expertise.

- Finally, enjoy a glass of our treasured Vinho de Carcavelos, the crown jewel of Quinta da Corrieira Grande, known for its complex aromas and rich, velvety taste.

You will have the chance to meet the family, as all the acitivies take place in the farm where the we live.
