Lisbon Winery tour and tasting: A Journey Through Portugal

2 hours 30 minutes (approximately)
Offered in: German and 2 more

This is your chance to visit a typical small production Portuguese vineyard and winery, where the grapes are collected by hand and pressed in an old lagar. The tasting will be guided by one of our professional guides, who know all about wine and the winemaking proces.
During the tasting you will get to know the Carcavelos wine, the hidden treasure from the Lisbon wine region that we produce at Quinta de Corrieira. It is a fortified wine, with great history, a unique profile and very limited production.

The farm sits on top of a hill in Oeiras, which offers you the most spectacular views over the Atlantic ocean, the south coast of Lisbon and Cascais!

The tour lasts for around 2:30 hours and you will also have the chance to visit the vineyards and our small winery where our exclusive wine is made.

What to expect

Make a Journey through Portugal by the Glass on Quinta da Corriera, a small winery just 10 km from Lisbon city centre. The experience includes a tour though the vineyard and winery, followed by a guided wine tasting with local delicacies.

The wine tasting contains 6–7 wines from across Portugal, including our own wines from the Lisbon wine region. The wines are accompanied by a platter of cheeses and regional products.

During the tour you’ll visit the vineyards and winery, learn how wine is made on a small scale, and understand the role this area has played in Portuguese wine history.

The visit takes place in a small group, offering an informal and personal setting — an easy escape from the city to experience Portuguese wine and food in one location.

Tours are led by an experienced wine guide or one of the owners themselves. As a small winery welcoming only small groups, we aim to keep the experience relaxed, and informative.

Quinta da Corrieira is a family-run winery surrounded by vineyards in the Oeiras Valley, on the outskirts of Lisbon, with views on the Atlantic ocean.
