The travel time is approximately eight hours in total, on the way we will see the northern part of the city of Quito, the microclimates that we have, then to enter the cloud forest of Mindo.
We will pass through the city in the middle of the world, we will go from the southern hemisphere to the northern hemisphere.
We will descend the Andes mountain range from 3000 meters to 1300 meters where Mindo is located.
We will visit Alambi to see hummingbirds, tanagers, toucans then we will continue to the town of Mindo, we will pass the town and we will go to do the cable car and waterfalls, we will finish this activity and we will go to the butterfly farm.
We return to Mindo and we will go to the chocolate tour, if you want lunch you can do it in Mindo.
Finally, on the way back to Quito they are dropped off at the agreed point.

Meeting and pickup
To get to Plaza Foch, which is on Foch and Reina Victoria streets, take a taxi to this address in the north center of Quito and get dropped off at the Café Valdez, which is very visible by the way. You will see a gray Toyota 4x4 jeep parked near the Café Valdez. The guide will be waiting for you in the vehicle.

1Mitad Del Mundo
Picking up the tourists at the indicated address at eight in the morning, we continue the route north, seeing part of the city of Quito, until reaching the Middle of the World in about 35 minutes and we will stop for about 15 minutes to take a photo exactly on the zero line for the change of hemisphere, one foot in the north and one foot in the south of planet Earth.

Then we continue to the northwest via Alambi, in about 30 minutes of driving we will arrive at this bird watching center, where we can see hummingbirds, toucans, orioles, tanagers, we will be at this point for 35 minutes. Admission is 5 dollars.

We will continue towards the Mindo cable car for about 40 minutes of driving, passing the town of Mindo, we arrive at this tourist center, the cable car is 500 meters long, we go above the trees having an indescribable sensation, already on the other side we begin the walk, visiting the Nambillo waterfall, this whole route is done in an hour, in an easy moderate walk. Admission is 5 dollars.

We continue for 25 minutes by car to the Mindo butterfly farm, where we can observe the variety of butterflies, an explanation of their reproduction and life span. The stay at this site is about 40 minutes. Admission is $8.

5Yumbos Chocolate
We return to the town of Mindo, in about 20 minutes of driving where you can take the chocolate tour in approximately one hour, it is a cozy place, if you want in the town you can have lunch there is a variety of food. Admission is 10 dollars. Return to Quito in approximately three hours of driving, tourists will be dropped off at the assigned address.
