Heyri Art Valley is very unique and distinguished with other tourist attractions because it was made by artists. In the planning phase, It was focused on a Publisher centered community, but changed to artists, such as fine art, formative art, music, literature, movie, play, architecture etc. Many entities have benchmarked Heyri Art Valley. Heyri Art Village was designated as Culture District in 2009 like Insadong in Seoul. Customers will get to know village members’ dream and challenge. Each building in the village is a piece of artistic work. Customers are going to appreciate some buildings that won architecture awards and hear of Heyri Art Valley's (hi)story. Furthermore, customers are going to make an musical instrument after museum tour in the Museum of Musical Instrument of the World. Customers are going to feel good to know stories about world musical instrument that we haven’t known in the museum. This tour provides customers with an experience to make an musical instrument.

Meeting point

Meet a tour guide with a yellow hand at the entrance of Gate 1, very close to the Bus stop of "Heyri Gate 1". Please take red bus 2200 (Bus stop no. 14895) in front of Exit 1 of Hapjeong subway station (Line 2) Seoul. It will take about 1 hour from Hapjeong to Heyri Art Village Gate 1.

What to expect

We are going to take in Heyri Art Valley on foot for about 1 hour. Heyri Art Valley was built in 2003 by about 200 artists and culture product managers. There are over 300 members living in now. Buildings are impressively modern. Some buildings have won some architectural awards. Customers are going to hear of the story of impressive buildings and village members. And then we are supposed to go to Museum of Musical Instrument of the World to make an musical instrument. Before that customers are going to tour in the museum for about 30 minutes.
