Meeting and pickup
We do not pick up travelers on holydays and special occasions/dates as Antigua gets so crowded and several streets might be closed. Before booking, call us to check if we are picking up on that date or if we are having a meeting point on that date. We do not pick up in hotels during Lent weekends (Friday to Sunday) and Holy Week, Christmas and New Years holydays and special festivities in Antigua. Our usual meeting points when most streets are closed are: Hotel Cacique Real and IGSS. Please be ready at meeting point, the lobby of your hotel, or main gate 5 minutes before agreed pick up time. There is a window of 45 minutes to complete pick ups. Please let us know your destination in downtown Panajachel area. No drop off outside Panajachel downtown area. If you are heading to another town (ex. San Juan, San Pedro, San Marcos) your drop off point is the main dock (muelle publico Sanjuyù). If you are heading to Santa Catarina Palopo, San Antonio Palopo or hotels in between, your drop off points should be on Main street Calle Santander where you can hire a tuc tuc or other vehicles to take you to your final destination.
What to expect
The usual route that we take is from Antigua, passing through the towns of El Tejar, Patzicia, Tecpan, Las Trampas, Las Cruces, and arriving in Panajachel. Drop off points are in Panajachel downtown area. We do not go to any other towns, unless you book a private ride with us, we will inform you about the price.
We make a stop half way at a gas station for 5 minutes to use the restrooms.
Please be kind to other passengers, our bus is usually fully booked. Passengers who cannot fit in one seat or who encroach upon adjacent seats are required to purchase a second, adjacent seat.
