On your final stop of the day, you will arrive in Portree, the charming "main" village of the Isle of Skye. Portree offers a blend of modern amenities and historical charm, making it an ideal base for discovering the island's stunning landscapes and attractions. Traveling north of Portree, your journey leads to the iconic Old Man of Storr, a striking ridge on the Isle of Skye. This breathtaking landscape may be familiar from the opening scene of the film 'Prometheus'. The Old Man of Storr is renowned for its unique geological formations and stunning views, making it a must-visit destination on the Trotternish Peninsula. The site is steeped in folklore, with local legends telling the tale of a giant who once roamed the island.
