Discover Lisbon’s vibrant hills on a 3-hour Instagrammable walking and tram tour that will awaken all your senses. We will connect the aristocratic charm of Príncipe Real with the historic atmosphere of Graça, authentic neighborhoods full of local commerce, squares, gardens, markets, viewpoints, convents, fado taverns and street art. We will start at Plaza Luís de Camões and take the iconic 24E tram to Príncipe Real, where we will stroll among 19th century palaces, designer boutiques, signature cafes and fairs. Then we will continue to the Mirador de São Pedro de Alcântara and, crossing the Bairro Alto with its tascas and bars, we will climb on the tram 12E to the hill of Graça. There you will discover working-class villas, urban art, the Convent Mirador and Plaza da Graça and finally the Mirador de Nossa Senhora do Monte, the highest point in Lisbon, before ending in the multicultural Plaza de Martim Moniz.     We will begin the adventure in Plaza Luís de Camões, meeting point between the bohemian neighborhoods of Bairro Alto and Chiado. From there we will take the iconic 24E tram (postcards) to Príncipe Real, known for its tranquility, elegant architecture, sophisticated character and signature cafes, galleries and independent shops.

    In Príncipe Real, every step is a journey through time. We will explore on foot its cobbled streets, lined by 19th century palaces turned into designer boutiques, restaurants and organic produce markets frequented by Lisboners and visitors. In the central square we will admire the famous Mexican Cypress, the palaces that surround it and learn about the history of the old water reserve of the Aguas Livres Aqueduct, hidden under the garden. Design fairs and organic markets are usually set up around the country with regional producers.

    Miradouro Sao Pedro de Alcantara

    We will continue to the Mirador de São Pedro de Alcântara, a viewpoint with panoramic views over the Castle of São Jorge, the historic center and the Convento da Graça, our next destination Through the heart of Bairro Alto, with its bars, small tascas and fado taverns, we will take the 12E tram to climb the Graça Hill, where daily life is shown without filters, with neighborhood markets, traditional shops and neighbors greeting each other at the doorstep.

    Then we will walk the streets that welcomed the 19th century rural-city migration, discovering Portugal’s industrial past through the workers’ “villages”, such as Villa Souza and the Estrella D’Ouro neighborhood, living examples of authentic residential neighborhood where the community maintains its traditions. Graça is also an open-air gallery: we will observe facades with reclaimed tiles, murals and graffiti that dialogue with the life of the neighborhood, forming an open-air urban art museum with Portuguese and foreign authors.

    Miradouro Da Senhora Do Monte

    At the Mirador de Nossa Senhora do Monte we will reach the highest point of Lisbon to enjoy a 360° view over the city, the Tagus River, the 25 de Abril Bridge and the Cathedral.
