What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We're easy to find, just 100 meters off State Highway 2 if you are heading from Auckland or Tauranga. Just 5 mins south of Katikati township. Upon arrival please park in the signposted parking area and make your way to the large shed entrance where your guide will meet you.
What to expect
You'll get a chance to pick your own avocado (season dependent).
Meet some local native birds that call the orchard home.
Watch a live demonstration of the harvesting machine used to pick fruit high in the trees.
After the stroll, tantalise your tastebuds with some delicious guacamole and avocado ice cream.
A merchandise stand is available for the purchase of avocado-themed items and mementos.
By choosing the Gourmet Tour, you’ll experience an avocado-themed tasting event featuring a variety of dishes such as guacamole with chips, avocado and feta on balsamic and caramelized onion crackers, sourdough, and a selection of avocado oils. Delight in avocado mousse, avocado chocolates, and finish with refreshing avocado gelato. Dishes will change from time to time, ensuring a dynamic and exciting experience.
