The Penguinera Walk offers an unforgettable experience where you can walk alongside Papuan penguins for 30 minutes. This tour starts at the Beagle Channel and has photo stops at iconic locations, such as Bird Island, where you can watch various birds, and Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse, surrounded by stunning scenery. A specialist guide will share valuable information about the lives of these animals as you marvel at their behaviour. The adventure culminates with a sunset return to Ushuaia, creating indelible memories in a unique natural environment.

What to expect

After checking in at the office, at the tourist pier (Av. Naval Prefecture 410), the excursion begins with a navigation along the Beagle Channel, starting from the port of Ushuaia. Along the way, we visit Bird Island, where we observe different species of seabirds, and Wolf Island, home to one and two-haired sea lions. We also pass the iconic Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse, one of the most recognized symbols of the end of the world.
We continue sailing east, enjoying spectacular scenery and the vastness of the canal, to Marillo Island. There we will have the unique opportunity to walk among Papua penguins in their natural habitat for 30 minutes.
We will return to Ushuaia sailing again.
