Plaza de Armas Our tour begins at the Plaza de Armas, the heart of Punta Arenas. Here, you’ll marvel at the historic buildings surrounding this iconic square, reflecting the economic boom from sheep farming and the introduction of sheep from the Falkland Islands, a period known as the white gold era.
Braun Menéndez Regional Museum Next, we’ll visit the Braun Menéndez Regional Museum, a splendid example of architecture from the “white gold” era. This museum offers insights into the region’s history and the lives of one of Patagonia’s most influential families.
Next, we’ll head to the Cerro de la Cruz Viewpoint, where we’ll enjoy the best panoramic views of the city, the Strait of Magellan, and the vast Patagonian landscape. This spot is perfect for capturing memorable photos of your visit.
Sara Braun Cemetery Our tour continues to the Sara Braun Cemetery, a national monument renowned as one of the ten most beautiful cemeteries in the world. Discover what makes this site so unique during our visit.
