One highlight is the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, one of Morocco’s most scenic and dramatic mountain passes, reaching an elevation of about 2,260 meters (7,400 feet) above sea level. This route offers breathtaking views of rugged terrain and lush valleys. Along the way, you’ll experience the rich cultural heritage of Berber communities and enjoy the ultimate contrast between mountainous and desert landscapes
On your journey, you'll stop at Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its stunning ksar (fortified village). This historical site has served as a backdrop for numerous films, including Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and Lawrence of Arabia. You can enjoy a guided tour of this fascinating location, which lasts about an hour. Although the tour is not included in the package, it is available for a small fee of 2 euros per person for groups of more than 10 people. Afterward, you’ll continue your journey, passing through Ouarzazate and along the Thousand Kasbahs Road and make it in the evening to your hotel.
After breakfast, you'll meet your driver and head to a local guide who will show you around the town. You’ll explore daily life, the Jewish quarter, and the historic sections, and you may also visit a local women’s handicraft cooperative. The local guide is included for today
The Todra Gorge (or Todgha Gorge) is a breathtaking natural wonder situated in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco. Known for its dramatic rock formations, it’s a popular spot for tourists and climbers alike. The same local guide from the morning will accompany you as you explore the gorge. Afterward, you'll head to Tinejdad for lunch
After lunch, you'll visit a Berber family shop, where you can try on traditional Berber attire and take free pictures. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase scarves for your camel ride in the desert. This stop offers a unique glimpse into local culture and craftsmanship
Arrive in Merzouga and meet your camel for an exciting ride into the desert. As you journey across the dunes, you'll enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the vast Sahara. After about an hour, you'll reach your desert camp, where you'll settle into your tents. Take some time to freshen up with a shower before preparing for a magical evening under the stars. After dinner, you’ll be treated to traditional music and dancing around the campfire, creating a memorable experience in the heart of the desert
After an early breakfast, you'll meet your camels again for the ride back to the meeting point where your car will be waiting. This will be the longest day of the tour, so there will be stops along the way for rest, meals, and to stretch your legs before continuing the drive back to Marrakech
