There's truly no better way to explore the many highlights and hidden gems of Golden Gate Park than with your own personal local meteorologist and guide. We'll visit some of the park's most iconic spots but also uncover hidden gems like the Monarch Bear Grove, candelabra redwood trees and Summer of Love sights that will be new discoveries for even the most experienced local. From some of the park's most quiet and peaceful corners to it's energetic and bustling heart, this is a truly unique San Francisco experience!

Meeting point

We'll meet at the Flywheel Coffee Kiosk right inside of Golden Gate Park off Stanyan Street. NOTE: There is another Flywheel Coffee location right across the street (next to Whole Foods) but make sure to go to the location inside the park itself.

End point

The tour will end at the De Young Museum inside Golden Gate Park. This is a great area to find a bite to eat or enjoy more the park has to offer. The end point is a quick 15 minute walk from the tour start point.

    Shaded beneath a quiet grove of the world's very tallest trees we will step into this peaceful, impactful and beautiful space. The AIDS Memorial Grove is the only congressionally designated AIDS Memorial in the United States and preserves some of the park's most impressive redwood trees.

    One of San Francisco's iconic museums and a modern engineering marvel. Capture of a view of the park from above in the museum's observation tower. Here we will also take a moment to admire the work of one of our most admired local artists, Ruth Asawa.

    It's always Spring at The Conservatory of Flowers where the grounds are lit up in an ever transforming assortment of colors and blooms that change with each season. We will explore the gardens outside of the conservatory, reflecting on it's history stretching back before the 1906 earthquake. The art filled promenade often echoes with live music giving these flower fields even more color.

    One of the park's most fascinating corners! Explore the lively and colorful Summer of Love history at Hippie Hill to Robin Williams lasting legacy here in San Francisco. Discover the favorite hang out spots of greats like Janice Joplin who would play her songs here on cool Summer days for the thousands gathered around her.
