Hoover Dam is one of the best tourist attractions in Las Vegas.Here you will explore the Dam to its depth.So originally named Boulder Dam, it was later renamed Hoover Dam in honor of President Herbert Hoover. The dam was a massive undertaking, employing thousands of workers and requiring immense engineering skills. It aimed to control the Colorado River's flow, provide water for irrigation, and generate hydroelectric power for the South west. You will have a perfect opportunity to learn all this and take good photos. The Visitor Centre takes about an hour to do the plant tour which is an educational tour of how the power is generated.
