Next, visit La Chocolatera to discover the chocolate-making process, followed by Emanuel Premium Cigars to learn about traditional cigar craftsmanship.
Explore colorful Umbrella Street and Pink Street, then visit Central Park and the Cathedral in the historic city center. End your tour at the Fort of San Felipe, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Transportation is provided in a private, air-conditioned van. The itinerary includes short walks between nearby attractions, so guests should be comfortable walking short distances. The cigar factory may expose visitors to tobacco smoke; guests may skip this stop.
If you request an earlier return to the port, we will accommodate your wishes, which may shorten the tour.

Meeting and pickup
Our pickup for Cruise Travelers is adjusted to the cruise Schedule, outside cruise ports Both AMber Cove and Taino bay, outside after the exit gates.
Pick up can be 30 or 45 minutes after the Ship has docked at the Port.
After booking, the customer will receive a separate email or call from the supplier with detailed informations about the meeting point.
We can pick up from any airport or airbnb within Puerto Plata City. If you do not see your hotel or Airbnb, please add Info on your Note section upon booking. Pickups in Sosua and Cabarete, an extra fee may be charged.
If you are staying at a villa, Airbnb, or private rental, please make sure to provide the exact address and building name in your booking notes.
Pickup from hotels and resorts will be arranged at the main lobby unless otherwise specified.
Cruise passengers will meet us outside the designated port exit gate, where our team will be waiting with a sign displaying "Edgar Private Tours" (no inside port pickup)

Rainbow Gift Shop is a craftsman’s workshop where talented local artisans handcraft beautiful pieces of jewelry made from amber and larimar, two of the Dominican Republic’s most precious and distinctive stones. During your visit, you’ll get an overview of the history and origins of these local gems, learn about their geological extraction points across the island, and even test genuine versus imitation stones to sharpen your eye. By the end of your visit, you’ll feel like an expert in identifying authentic amber and larimar pieces — and you’ll have the chance to take home a unique handmade treasure of your own.

Visit and have a walk on your own to take pictures to the Central park , Cathedral and La glorieta of Puerto Plata. It is one of the places of greatest attraction and greatest projection in Puerto Plata. It is considered one of the most precious symbols of the "Silver City." It was one of the gifts to his people from General Luperón during the government he headed in 1879.

8Fortaleza San Felipe
San Felipe Fortress is Located right on the bay, at the western end of the Malecón, the fort is the only remnant of Puerto Plata's early colonial days. Built in the mid-16th century to prevent pirates from seizing one of the only protected bays on the entire north coast, San Felipe never saw any action. For much of its life its massive walls and interior moat were used as a prison.
