What's Included
Meeting and pickup
8 min walk from Ebisu Station (West Exit or Exit 1). Walk straight along Komazawa Street. Lawson will be on your left. Look for the blue sign — we’ll meet in front. A staff member holding a blue placard with "JAPAN TRIP GUIDE" will be waiting.
What to expect
Our relaxed, small-group workshop lasts 3 hours, giving you plenty of time to receive careful and thorough instruction from a professional manga artist. Beyond basic techniques, you’ll also learn valuable tips and behind-the-scenes insights from the manga world.
You’re free to choose any character or create your own original work. Together with your instructor, you’ll develop your ideas and story concepts, learning key points like composition, expressions, and poses that bring characters to life.
Next, you’ll experience each traditional step of manga creation—from pencil sketching, inking, to adding shading and depth—while the pro artist stays by your side to provide guidance and answer any questions. Beginners are warmly welcomed and supported.
