We will visit the Sky of Salamanca, an impressive mural painting located in the minor schools of the University of Salamanca. This mural, made by Fernando Gallego in the 15th century, represents a vision of the firmament with constellations, shows us signs of the zodiac and mythological figures. Its Gothic style and astronomical precision reflect the scientific knowledge of the time. Although it originally covered the entire vault, only part of it remains today. The intense colors and expressiveness of the figures captivate the viewer. It is considered a jewel of Renaissance art and science. The mural evokes the union between celestial knowledge and human knowledge. Visiting it is like traveling to the universe from the heart of Salamanca.
