The driver will pick you up from your hotel in Bukhara at the time you selected. Depart from Bukhara in the morning and, optionally, head towards Gijduvan. Visit the Gijduvan Ceramic School, a renowned center of traditional pottery, where you can observe artisans at work and learn about centuries-old techniques.
Next, a short stop can be done at Sarmishsoy Gorge, home to thousands of petroglyphs dating back to the Bronze Age. Discover the rock carvings depicting ancient life, rituals, and hunting scenes.
Arrive in Nurata, a historic town known for its sacred Chashma Spring and the remnants of Alexander the Great’s fortress. Visit the spring and explore the local history.
Continue the drive to the mountain villages of Sentob, Uhun, Asrab, and Hayat, where you can experience the traditional lifestyle of rural Uzbekistan. Reach Hayat Village in the late afternoon and check in to a cozy family-run guesthouse. Join a traditional cooking masterclass, where you will learn to prepare local dishes using fresh village ingredients. Enjoy a warm and hearty dinner with your hosts. Spend the night in the guesthouse, experiencing the peaceful atmosphere of the mountain village.
Enjoy a traditional breakfast. Join in a Guided Hiking Tour with a Local Guide through the stunning Nuratau Mountains. Hike through scenic trails, explore the diverse flora and fauna, and visit hidden viewpoints overlooking the valley. Participate in optional horseback riding for a unique perspective of the landscape.
Return to the guesthouse for lunch and some relaxation. Say goodbye to your hosts and begin the journey towards Samarkand. Drive through picturesque landscapes on the way to Samarkand. Arrive in Samarkand in the evening and drop-off at your hotel.
