On the drive from Avignon to Nîmes you will learn about Provence and Roman history in the area. At Nîmes there will be photo stops at Jardin de la Fontaine, Maison Carrée, and the Amphitheatre. After getting to know charming, médiéval Uzès, we will visit the incredible Roman aqueduct at Pont du Gard. Here you can take in the view from the belvedere or even take a walk across the river right next to the 2000 year old structure. Incredible!
