On your way to the golden dunes of Merzouga, you'll stop in the charming desert town of erfoud for a relaxing lunch. Known as the "Gateway to the Sahara," Erfoud is famous for its date palms and fossil workshops. Here, you’ll enjoy a delicious traditional Moroccan meal at a local restaurant—perfect for recharging before the final leg of your desert journey. Take in the warm desert atmosphere and, if time allows, explore a bit of the town’s unique character.
Sunset Camel Trek to Luxury Desert Camp & Berber Music Under the Stars In the late afternoon, you'll ride a camel across the stunning Erg Chebbi dunes on a 1 hour and 30-minute journey toward your luxury desert camp. As the sun sets, the golden sands glow with incredible colors—perfect for unforgettable photos and a peaceful, immersive desert experience. Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed into your private luxury tent, complete with comfortable bedding and modern touches for a truly unique stay in the heart of the Sahara. After dinner, enjoy traditional Moroccan cuisine under a blanket of stars, followed by an evening of Berber music performed live around the campfire. On your final day, you’ll rise early to enjoy a peaceful breakfast in the desert camp, with the golden dunes bathed in morning light. After breakfast, you'll travel back to Marrakech through the stunning landscapes of southern Morocco. The journey begins with a scenic drive through the Tinghir region, where you’ll pass by the palm groves and dramatic cliffs of the Todgha Valley. Continue through Kelaat M’Gouna, known as the Valley of Roses, where you’ll see rose fields and local cooperatives that produce fragrant rose water and oils. Your route then takes you to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” for a brief stop or photo opportunity near the famous film studios and the Taourirt Kasbah. From there, you’ll cross the High Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka Pass, with panoramic views and traditional Berber villages along the way. You’ll arrive in Marrakech by early evening, with your heart full of memories from the desert, mountains, and cultural wonders of Morocco.
