We depart from Richards Bay at 7.30am and head north to Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve for a game drive at this big 5 game reserve. A game drive in Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve is an exhilarating journey through one of Africa’s oldest and most iconic reserves. Known for its successful rhino conservation efforts, the reserve offers the chance to see the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—amidst diverse landscapes of rolling hills and savannahs. Expert guides lead the drive, offering insights into the behaviors and habitats of the wildlife. Whether it’s spotting a herd of elephants or watching rhinos graze in the wild, a game drive here delivers an unforgettable African safari experience. After the game drive we take a short lunch break before we start to head back to Richards Bay.
