Discovered in 1932 by a local fisherman Luigi Buonocore, the Emerald grotto name derives from the color of the water and the reflections created when the sunlight touches its rocky walls. An interplay of shades ranging from cobalt blue and light blue to emerald green spreads throughout the enviroment leaving everyone enchanted. The accessibility to Emerald grotto is not assured with strong wind and high swell.
