This is a fully hosted painting experience — not a drop-in craft table. With professional paints, quality materials and attentive guidance throughout, you’ll design and hand-paint your chosen wooden or ceramic piece at your own pace.
Your £10 reservation includes the full studio session, artisan cake, a drink, and use of all materials. Your selected item is chosen and paid for separately on arrival.

What to expect
Step into our beautifully curated coastal studio in Exmouth and enjoy a relaxed, social creative experience at Arty Boat.
This is not just a quick painting stop — it’s a thoughtfully hosted 2.5-hour escape where you can slow down, get creative, and take home something truly personal.
On arrival, you’ll choose from our collection of handcrafted wooden ducks or ceramic pieces. Most guests spend between £18–£35 depending on their chosen item (our signature wooden ducks start from £26).
No experience needed — we guide you gently throughout.
