You'll watch a skilled local artisan craftswoman weaving a Rug, just as it has been done for generations in the villages, if you purchase, you will be contributing to the livelihood of artisans in rural areas.

Meeting and pickup
We will meet near the "Cemberlitas" tram station, next to the Constantins Column. UPON REQUEST, WE CAN PROVIDE PICK UP FROM YOUR HOTEL!
What to expect
We will walk by in the Grand Bazaar, learn significance of it in the history of the Empires and Rug making/selling, with hidden sites.
1. Visiting the Art Gallery:
We will visit the Art Gallery with many artistic pieces. As we walk between the patterns, we will go back in time, talk about the historic importance of the motives and the meanings.
2. Carpet Weaving Demonstration:
We will watch a skilled artisan weaving the carpets from scratch. She will tell us about the knot techniques and you will have the chance to work on the loom yourself with her guidance.
3. Understanding the Carpets:
Me and the experienced Carpet Expert who worked in museums for the Rug curations will tell you about the Turkish carpets tradition, meanings, materials and techniques on site.
4. Exclusive and Safe Shopping:
You will be in safe hands, accessing curated selection of the trusted dealers, personalized shopping with shipping possibility and great pricing.
