On this tour we will begin by exploring St Paul’s Cathedral to head south to the river, away from the City’s authority, the cultural and historical legacy of Southwark.
Iconic bridges of London, Shakespeare and the Elizabethan theatre world, and we will visit ancient taverns where criminals and sailors shared stories of shipwrecks.
We will visit the oldest prison where torture was routine and cemeteries that reflect the evolution of the city.
We will also walk streets and iconic buildings that have been the scene of important events and traditions, ending with a walk that will connect us with the past and present of London.
We’ll finish at The Queen’s Walk and understand why it was Queen Elizabeth’s favorite walk.
