Based on your flight schedule, our Tibetan guide will be waiting for you at the arrival hall holding a sign with your name on it. They will escort you to the transfer vehicle and accompany you to the hotel, assisting with the check-in process. At the end of your trip, our guide will transfer you to Lhasa Airport .

    Lhasa Sightseeing, visit Potala Palace, Johkang Temple, Barkor Street

    Potala Palace

    Morning section to visit the famous Potala palace and explore the grandest of this myriad chapels, you will experience its audience halls, the jeweled and Golden burial chortens(stupa Tombs) of past Dalai Lamas, and tremendous number of Buddhist frescoes, thangkas, combinations of mandala etc.

    Jokhang Temple

    In the afternoon, we'll explore the sacred Jokhang Temple, revered by Tibetan Buddhists. This architectural masterpiece blends Tibetan, Tang, Nepalese, and Indian styles, standing as a timeless symbol of Tibetan religious architecture.

    After our visit to the Jokhang Temple, you can leisurely stroll around it in a clockwise direction, browse the handicraft market on Barkhor Street, or simply wander the streets, basking in the warmth of the Sunlight City. Alternatively, you can find a charming tea house and immerse yourself in the leisurely lifestyle of Tibetan friends.

    Lhasa-Yamdrok Lake-Karola Glacier-Shigatse

    In the morning, depart from Lhasa and drive to Yamdrok Lake, one of the three sacred lakes in Tibet. Yamdrok Lake is the highest freshwater lake in the world, with an altitude of 4,441 meters above sea level. In Tibetan. After descending the mountain, you will get a close view of Yamdrok Lake. The deep blue lake water merges with the distant snow-capped mountains, and distinctive Tibetan villages, and herds of cattle and sheep on both sides, You can feel peace and delight along the way.

    In the afternoon, pass by and get a distant view of the Karola Glacier, experiencing its majestic grandeur and ethereal clouds. Afterwards, arrive at the heroic city of Tibet—Gyantse County, where you can gaze at the Gyantse Fortress from afar. Continue along the Gyantse Plain to reach the important town of Shigatse in the western region of Tibet.

    Shigatse—Tingri—EBC

    Drive westwards the Friendship way to Tingri. There is about 90km from Tingri to Rongpuk. Pass the wild grassland, cross the rapids river and high mountains. If it is in clear whether, you can have a glimpse of 4 mountains which is 8000m high or more, such as: Mt Lhotse(8516m),Mt.Everest(8848m),Mt.Qowowuyag(8201m), Mt Makalu(8463m) .

    EBC—Tingri—Shigatse

    Early in the morning, see the sunrise from Rongbuk and then view Mt. Everest. It is fabulous and splendid. After walking, take a local bus, which takes about half an hour to arrive at Everest Base Camp (you can also trek to the Base Camp, which takes around 1.5 to 2 hours one way. It’s interesting and much warmer, but it can be hard to breathe). Hike up to the top of the photo point to take pictures of the magnificent Mt. Everest. Then, in the late afternoon, return from EBC to Tingri via highway and back to Shigatse.

    Shigatse-Tashilunpo Monastery-Lhasa

    Before spending about 4 hours driving back to Lhasa from Shigatse, we will visit the largest monastery in West Tibet, Tashilunpo Monastery, as the last but famous historic site of your Tibet tour. Tashilunpo Monastery is one of the six great Gelukpa institutions and was founded in 1447 by a disciple of Tsongkapa. It contains the world's largest gilded copper image (26 m high) of the future god Jampa. We will drive along the Highway back to Lhasa.

    Lhasa—Namtso—Northern Tibet Grassland—Lhasa

    "In the early morning, drive through the vast grasslands of northern Tibet, where you can witness colorful prayer flags fluttering in the wind and travel along the Qinghai-Tibet Highway. Cross the 5,190-meter-high Nagela Mountain Pass and arrive at the first of Tibet's three sacred lakes, the 'Heavenly Lake' Namtso, at an altitude of 4,718 meters. Namtso Lake is the highest saltwater lake in the world and the second largest in China. In the evening, return to Lhasa, accompanied by the glow of the setting sun.
