    The Temple of Heaven is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Beijing’s most iconic cultural landmarks. Constructed during the Ming Dynasty, it served as the sacred place where emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties performed annual ceremonies to pray for good harvests. The complex features the magnificent Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, the Circular Mound Altar, and the Imperial Vault of Heaven, each exemplifying exquisite architectural design and symbolic meaning.
