Escape the busy city and explore the natural beauty of northern Vietnam on this 2-day journey to Mai Chau and Pu Luong Nature Reserve. After pickup from the Hanoi Old Quarter, travel through scenic countryside and stop at Thung Khe Pass for panoramic views of Mai Chau Valley.
In Mai Chau, enjoy lunch in a traditional stilt house before cycling through peaceful villages and rice fields. Visit local weaving workshops and climb the steps to Chieu Cave for beautiful valley views. In the evening, continue to Pu Luong Nature Reserve for an overnight stay.
On the second day, walk through rice terraces and villages such as Lan Village and Chieng Lau Village, see traditional bamboo waterwheels, and trek to Cham Stream for a relaxing bamboo rafting experience with a floating lunch before returning to Hanoi.

Also called the “Thousand Steps Cave,” this limestone cave sits high on a mountain and offers impressive rock formations and beautiful views over Mai Chau Valley. We can change another cave if weather is not good

A stunning nature reserve known for terraced rice fields, tropical forests, and remote ethnic villages. It’s one of the best places in northern Vietnam for trekking and experiencing authentic countryside life.

The next day begins with a walk through rice terraces and villages including Lan Village, where you will visit a local Thai household and learn about traditional silk weaving. The journey continues to Chieng Lau Village, famous for its bamboo waterwheels used to irrigate rice fields. A scenic trek then leads to Cham Stream, where you will enjoy a relaxing bamboo rafting experience with a unique floating lunch surrounded by nature. After the rafting experience, return by car to Hanoi, arriving in the early evening.
