Ta Mok’s house is located in Anlong Veng and is a significant site. Ta Mok, known as the “Butcher” for his brutal tactics during the Khmer Rouge regime, spent his last years in this home before his capture in 1999. Explore the remains of the house, which is now a ruin. Learn about Ta Mok’s role in the Khmer Rouge and the history of the site. Anlong Veng Cemetery: The cemetery contains graves of high-ranking Khmer Rouge officials. You can learn about the high-profile individuals who were buried here and the final days of the regime.
